CPU-7620: 6U CompacPCI fully-equipped Pentium II CPU board

EuroTecH S.p.A. has released a new powerful compactPCI 6U CPU board based on the Pentium II mobile processor: the CPU-7620.

This CompactPCI board supports any Pentium II Embedded Processor Module in MMC2 package version in order to satisfy any power need. The board is Hot-Swap v. 2.1 and PMI compliant and has a wide range of advanced features: 2 DIMM sockets with ECC support for up to 1GB SDRAM, 1 compactFlash socket for on board Flash Disk, 2 EIDE ports, 1 FD controller, 2 10/100Mbps Fast Ethernet Controllers, on board AGP-bus SVGA controller with 2MB DRAM and with LCD support, Keyb and mouse PS/2, EPP/ECP bidirectional parallel port, 2 UART 16550 serial ports (RS-232 or RS-422/485 user selectable), 2 USB ports, 3 extra timers available for user programs, 1 Watch Dog with programmable time-out, speaker interface and push button reset.

The CPU-7620 is fully compatible with many Operating Systems: MS-DOS, UNIX; QNX, VRTX32, Windows 3.11, Windows 95/98, Windows NT, Windows 2000, Linux, VxWorks.

Thanks to its Modular Bridge Technology, this CPU board has a multiprocessor capability: the same board can be configured as System Master or Peripheral Master.

All these features make the CPU-7620 a perfect solution when power, reliability, Hot swap capability and modularity are essential factors.
