Thanks to this acquisition, the Eurotech Group expects to penetrate the Northern European and Asian markets for microcomputer products
Amaro (Ud-Italy) September 8, 2004 – The Eurotech Group today announced the acquisition of Vikerkaar Oy, a Finnish company specialized in microcomputer products for Northern Europe and China. Renamed Eurotech Oy, this newly acquired division strengthens the international sales and engineering reach of the Eurotech Group in the Asian and Nordic markets.

Thanks to the experience of the Finnish team, which includes a number of Chinese engineers, together with our existing Shanghai office, Eurotech will have an even more prominent position in the market.”
All operations for the Group in the Chinese market now report to Mr. Tomi Hanninen, Managing Director of Eurotech Oy, who on behalf of Eurotech, has recently signed an important agreement with the University of Nanjing, China, to support a centre of research on embedded computers.
