Eurotech and Glacier Computer Sign Master Distribution Agreement

Amaro, UD, Italy March 23, 2009 – Eurotech, a leading provider of low power embedded products and technologies, and Glacier Computer, a leading designer, developer, and supplier of rugged vehicle-mount, tablet, and portable computers, today announce they have jointly signed a master distribution agreement. Under the terms of the agreement, Glacier Computer will resell the Eurotech Zypad wearable computer to support warehouse, manufacturing, healthcare, and public service applications.

Glacier Computer added the Zypad wearable computer to its product portfolio due to its rugged design, functionality, quality, and support provided by Eurotech. Eurotech selected Glacier Computer to distribute the wearable computer due to its understanding of the computing needs of customers in supply chain, healthcare, and first responder applications, and its broad sales channel which includes over 50 VARs and distributors.

Emerging opportunities are expected to stem from industrial supply chain operations, field service maintenance, bedside care for health care facilities and military/homeland security applications.
