Eurotech Developer earns Microsoft MVP Award

Amaro (UD), January 19, 2009 – Eurotech, a leading provider of application-ready embedded computer systems, today announces that Luca Calligaris, a software engineer based in Amaro, Italy, has earned Microsoft’s prestigious Most Valuable Professional (MVP) Award for 2009.

Luca, a MCTS (Microsoft Certified Technologies Specialist) leads software development for Eurotech’s wearable computer Zypad product. Luca earned the MVP Award in part due to his extensive contributions to Windows CE newsgroups and support of the Windows Embedded developer community.

Luca joins other certified Windows Embedded developers at Eurotech including Bruce Eitman, Gary An, Todd Krochta and Luca Della Ricca. Luca’s mastery of Embedded Windows technology will keep Eurotech customers in line with leading edge Microsoft products. Bruce Eitman, Director of Windows CE Technical Group for Eurotech, has also received the Microsoft MVP for 2009, and has been a Microsoft MVP for the past seven years.
